We ensure that commercial facilities are constantly protected and maintained with services to accelerate the construction of new facilities and support the maintenance of existing buildings.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking an ambitious Business Development Specialist who will strengthen our market presence within the assigned territory. Under the supervision of the Sales Director, The Business Development Specialist is responsible for profitably growing sales to achieve yearly sales goals as a sales consultant for current core industries and emerging industries and markets. The BDS will establish plans for and conducts a sales/marketing program to effectively communicate and sell Polygon Restoration services for the growth and expansion of the assigned territory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Make sales calls, give presentations, attend trade shows and participate in professional organizations in a manner that expands the awareness of Polygon and ensure follow-up directly with the clients
  • Support national marketing efforts in generating awareness of the value of Polygon and provide information on key influences in the territory to the Sales Director
  • Present the benefits of Polygon to the end user and other key buying influences.
  • Follow through on national sales promotions in the territory
  • Manage territory sales and expense budgets to maintain profitability
  • Collaborate with Project Manager to ensure projects are completed in accordance with original estimates and quotes
  • Develops and sustains sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers on all levels of an organization

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieve targeted sales and gross margin goals in assigned area
  • Establish and maintain high territory relationship quality
  • Create a strong territory “presence”
  • Regional profit contribution.
  • Participates in all local trade shows, and, if required, similar regional / national activities
  • Manages sales volume with an existing group of customers, prospects successfully to expand the customer base
  • Develops and implements plans to expand business presence in the assigned area

  • Four (4) years of sales or project management experience in a service industry. Experience is mandatory in the construction, equipment rental, or industrial coating markets
  • Exceptional communication skills and well-developed interpersonal

  • Strong initiative and ability to handle increasing responsibility over time
  • Excellent time management/organizational skills with ability to meet important deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Positive attitude, ability to work with a high level of energy and focus
  • Willingness to travel on short notice
