POLYGON GETS COMPANY BACK IN PRODUCTION FOLLOWING CORONAVIRUS DECONTAMINATION

After hearing about Polygon Denmark’s expertise and previous achievements with coronavirus disinfection, an American company reached out to contract their services.

The company needed disinfection of a two-story building, 3000 square metres in total, with 16 rooms, 26 offices, 7 bathrooms, hallways, canteen, several production areas, reception and a main entrance area.
Paw Larsen, Region Manager at Polygon in Denmark was contacted by the customer that had heard about the cleaning and disinfection job Polygon had carried out at Copenhagen Airport a few weeks ago.

“She explained that an employee had tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, and the company didn’t know what to do. The entire production at the company had been put on hold.

Thirty minutes after the call, Paw Larsen met up with the customer and brought with him protective equipment for both of them.

“I wanted her to feel safe when walking through the premises. The first floor was contaminated, and on the second floor they wanted a cleaning of all surfaces for safety reasons”, says Paw Larsen.

Five hours after the initial call, the first half of the Polygon team arrived at the company premises. An hour later, all technicians were on site and began the cleaning and disinfection process. After assessing the best suitable procedures and methods, following the advice of the Danish Health Department, the premises were cleaned and disinfected by Polygon in the evening. Following this, the company was then able to get back to business and recommence production the next morning.
