Polygon’s Sustained Commitment to Quality Recognised by Re-Accreditation to ISO 9001

Polygon has successfully maintained its accreditation to the ISO 9001:2015 quality standard in recognition of the company’s ongoing focus on quality within both its management processes and approach to customer service.

The accreditation, which applies to both Polygon and Harwell, is based on an extensive company-wide audit to assess operational systems and processes. As well as achieving re-accreditation, Polygon was also awarded an impressive seven Best Practice commendations for exceptional performance in seven key areas.

  • Leadership (second consecutive year)
  • Customers (second consecutive year)
  • Contents work carried out in Polygon depots (second consecutive year)
  • Office and field-based operations (second consecutive year)
  • Environment (second consecutive year)
  • Communication (fourth consecutive year)
  • Continuous Improvement (third consecutive year)

Pat Neal, Head of HR, comments: “We are delighted to have been re-certified to ISO 9001 and to have been recognised for our Best Practice in seven key areas. In particular, I’m pleased that the report highlights our focus on people, pointing to our support for colleagues during the pandemic and noting that we are a company that listens to our people.”

“Achieving re-accreditation requires sustained commitment across the board and it is the continual efforts made by all our colleagues in striving to achieve high standards in all we do – in the field, in claims operations, in the depots and in all the support functions – that is the underlying reason that we are able to achieve this result.”

ISO 9001:2015 is a global standard used to assess a company’s quality management systems. Companies that meet the standard have been found to consistently provide products and services that not only meet customer and regulatory requirements but also enhance customer satisfaction and are subject to continuous improvement.
