The main purpose of the position is to be responsible for leading the Financial Control function of R3 Polygon and Harwell, with a key focus on leadership, management, policy and process, controls and governance ownership. Ensuring R3 Polygon UK remains compliant in all areas, whilst optimising internal controls, maintaining, and improving processes and improving through leveraging of technology and simplification.
Day to day responsibilities will include managing and development of the team, incorporating accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, audit, contract asset, tax and treasury.
To succeed in this position we believe you will have a relevant qualificaition either ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE. Have excellent managerial skills, working knowledge of inventory accounting, experienced in P&L, balance sheet and indirect cashflow compilation and reporting and a background in short term direct cashflow forecasting.
