We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, data-driven Financial Data Analyst to join our FP&A team. In this pivotal role, you will support operations by assisting in the creation and production of daily, weekly, and monthly reports, providing essential management information and KPIs. Your expertise will also be crucial in developing customer reports and delivering accurate, insightful data for third-party stakeholders.

As part of the FP&A team, you'll play a central role in data mining, model-building, and continuous improvement of reporting, working closely with multiple systems and teams to ensure high standards of analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interrogate multiple systems to extract and mine data, creating informative management information (MI) for stakeholders across the business.
  • Build complex models from scratch, utilising data from various systems to provide actionable insights.
  • Develop commercial models with intricate pricing and costing structures to evaluate profitability.
  • Create and maintain reporting for the new ERP system, driving continuous improvement in management information and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Group systems to leverage and develop the Group data warehouse and Power BI reporting.
  • Produce client KPIs in alignment with contract requirements.
  • Apply analytical and technical expertise to ensure high standards of analysis and reporting for key stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups).
  • Essential experience with writing SQL queries and a strong understanding of databases.
  • Power BI experience is desirable.
  • Clear, logical approach to problem-solving with the ability to investigate data, identify trends, forecast performance, and offer insightful recommendations.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and able to work well with colleagues across various business areas.
