How Polygon restored a water-damaged holiday home in Kerry

When a pipe froze and burst in the attic of a family’s holiday home in Glenbeigh, Co. Kerry, the resulting water leak went undetected for several days. By the time the problem was discovered, almost every room had been damaged, and extensive mould growth had already developed.

• A full bathroom remodel
• Replacement of ceilings in several rooms
• Removal and reinstatement of flooring and internal joinery
• Installation of new fitted units in the kitchen and bedrooms

All finishes and materials were agreed remotely via email and video calls, enabling smooth progress despite the homeowners being based overseas. Regular updates and transparent communication ensured confidence every step of the way.
