Polygon Ireland Supports Good Shepherd Cork with Renovation Initiative

Our team from the Cork depot recently took part in a hands-on community project with Good Shepherd Cork, a leading charity supporting women and children experiencing homelessness.

The initiative was part of a team-building day that quickly became much more: a day of impact, compassion, and collective purpose.

“For us, social responsibility is more than a value — it's a commitment.”
— Pat Casey, Country President, Polygon Ireland

The team carried out improvement works on several homes within Good Shepherd Cork’s supported housing community in Baile an Aoire. One of the houses received a full renovation, transforming it into a welcoming, dignified space for one of the residents.

“These homes are not just shelters — they provide safety, dignity and the opportunity for healing for people who have faced long-term trauma, mental health challenges and homelessness. With the work that your team has done, you have created a warm and welcoming space for this individual. The sense of hope created from this is already being felt deeply.”
Molly Healy, Social Care Team Leader, Baile an Aoire

We’re especially thankful to our supply chain partners for making this possible through their generous support:

“Homelessness remains a pressing challenge across Ireland. Through partnerships like this, we’re proud to support the life-changing work of organisations like Good Shepherd Cork — who provide not just shelter, but the foundation for recovery and new beginnings.”
— Pat Casey
