Earlier in the summer of 2022, four women from Polygon UK were announced finalists in the prestigious Women in Insurance Awards 2022. The award works to highlight and celebrate women across all levels and sectors in the insurance industry.

A fire can start instantly and continue to rage until its fuel source is depleted, destroying homes and properties, causing injuries, and taking lives. A fire can leave families, businesses and people with destroyed homes or buildings. Restoring a building or items after a fire is complex and requires experience, specific equipment, and a competent team of specialists – Polygon has all three in abundance.

The Central Chabad Library is housed in the world headquarters of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement in Brooklyn, New York City. The library is home to 250,000 rare books, more than 100,000 letters, artifacts and pictures, and priceless scripture on Jewish topics that date back several hundred years. The library is in an area prone to heavy floods and storms, leaving the unique collection exposed to hazardous conditions and at risk of moisture damage. When disaster did hit, thankfully Polygon was able to come to the rescue.

Polygon Germany acquired Celler Trocknungs Service GmbH on September 1st, 2022. The company, based in Celle, currently employs ten people and offers services for water damage removal and construction drying, in addition to leak detection.

When any building is hit by a large fire, that completely incinerates the roof, and devastates the structure, there is understandably an impact on the inhabitants. In this one case, however, the fact that the building formed part of the town hall premises meant the damage affected the entire local community in the small south French village. With expert help from the Polygon owned company, Global Sinistres, the building could be supported during the long process of restoration.
