Polygon acquires Lora construction

Polygon Canada has today announced the acquisition of Lora Construction, a leading company specializing in the renovation of properties damaged by fire, water or natural disaster.

June 14, 2012 - The acquisition by Polygon, a global provider of property damage restoration, temporary humidity control and property performance services, makes Polygon the largest provider of reconstruction services in the Greater Montreal area.

By acquiring Lora, Polygon enhances its services to meet the insurance market’s demand for integrated services. “We were looking for a partner with impeccable credentials, well established and well regarded within the insurance industry to meet our growing needs. After working with Lora on several jobs, we knew their expertise, client focus, and attention to detail was a perfect fit with our mission,” said Fabio Bernardo, Director, Polygon Canada. Polygon will now have three depots in the province of Quebec, Montreal, Boucherville (South Shore) and Terrebonne (Laval and North Shore) to efficiently service the marketplace.

Lora Construction Founder, Jean-Hugues Labreque, will stay on at Polygon as Director for the Province of Quebec and will work with Cyril Dakhlou, Polygon’s Director of Sales and Marketing, in business development and the management of key accounts. “This is good news for the industry. We have combined the expertise of two organizations to offer a true one-stop shop,” said Labreque. “Our expanded services and management will better serve our industry.”
