Polygon acquires AK Konsult - leading moisture control consultancy in Scandinavia

Polygon AB has signed an agreement to acquire AK Konsult Indoor Air AB. AK Konsult is the leading property moisture control consultancy in Scandinavia, and is specialized in damage assessments and projects to improve indoor air climate for professional property owners.

“The acquisition is in line with our previously announced strategy of increased profitable growth, and follows Polygon’s acquisition of the German market leader Vatro earlier this year. Polygon is now the leading property damage restoration company in Europe with annual revenues well over 400 MEUR” says Michael Berg, Polygon Group CEO.

AK Konsult will become part of Polygon Sweden. Lars Kåredal, Managing Director of Polygon Sweden comments: “The acquisition is an important step in further strengthening Polygon’s position as the leading expert in moisture control. AK Konsult’s expertise in the construction and managed property segments creates an excellent platform for continued strong growth. We will now be able to offer our customers a complete service offering for all types of property moisture problems”.
