World Earth Day is taking place this week, which celebrates the world’s commitment to the environment and climate change. It also gives us the chance, as a business; to take stock of the different initiatives we’re pioneering to tackle sustainability and environmental issues within our industry.
Polygon remains one of the very few companies in the UK who have achieved Green status which is the highest award that can be achieved. With approximately 87,000 companies registered by Achilles, only 10-20 of these companies achieve Green status.
A pharmacy in the south of the Netherlands was exposed to the coronavirus when an infected customer visited. They contacted their cleaning company which in turn reached out to Polygon to carry out the disinfection.
After hearing about Polygon Denmark’s expertise and previous achievements with coronavirus disinfection, an American company reached out to contract their services.
Following a huge fire in mid-March, in one of Norway’s biggest power stations, Polygon Norway was called in by Statkraft.
