Almost four months have passed since the catastrophic DANA flooding struck Valencia, Spain. The flood caused widespread devastation, including severe damage to a Bauhaus store. Thanks to a swift and dedicated response from Polygon Spain, the store reopened on Friday, showcasing the power of restoration and resilience.

Children and staff members of a day-care centre just outside of Stockholm, Sweden, complained about a lingering odour in their facility. An inspection was ordered. The inspection determined that the foundation of their building was in poor condition, creating the odour. Polygon Sweden was hired to fix the problem by cleaning, demolishing, measuring moisture levels and installing dehumidifiers in the 1200 square meter crawl space beneath the floor of the day-care.

Water damage is a common challenge for public buildings like schools, kindergartens, and sports centers. These damages disrupt daily operations, create safety hazards, and lead to costly repairs. For insurance companies, such damages represent significant claims and customer dissatisfaction. To address this issue, Oslo Forsikring, the insurer of all publicly owned buildings in Oslo, partnered with Polygon Norway to explore how sensor technology could revolutionize water damage prevention and risk management.

Two years have passed since Copenhagen woke up to dramatic scenes on the morning of April 16, 2024. Flames were spreading through the roof of Børsen, the historic 17th-century stock exchange building in central Copenhagen and one of Denmark’s most iconic landmarks. Within a short time, the fire had developed into a major emergency, threatening not only the structure itself but also centuries of cultural value housed inside.

Polygon has helped with leak detection work inside of a containing tank, used in a Finnish factory. When the factory suspected that something wasn’t right with this huge 4000 square cubic meter tank, containing liquid used in the production process, the factory sprang into action and immediately assigned Polygon to combat the issue.
