Polygon awarded best practice commendation by ISO 9001

Polygon in the UK has successfully maintained their ISO 9001 accreditation. ISO 9001 is a quality standard certificate, and the accreditation applies to both Polygon and Harwell.

In addition, they have also been awarded 7 Best Practice commendations by the auditor for: 

  • Leadership for the second consecutive year 
  • Customers for the second consecutive year 
  • Contents work carried out in our own depots - for the second consecutive year 
  • Office and field-based operations for the second consecutive year 
  • Environment for the second consecutive year 
  • Communication - this is the fourth consecutive year we have achieved this award
  • Continuous Improvement - the third consecutive year of achieving this award

ISO 9001 is an international standard, based on a number of basic principles and is used by millions of organizations worldwide. All in all, the standard is about the organization starting from the customers' needs and reviewing the internal working methods to increase efficiency and has a key focus on sustainability.
