Polygon Group, a leading multinational player in property damage control, continues to reinforce its position in Finland and has signed an agreement to acquire JVT- ja pesutekniikka Oy. The strategic move is part of Polygon Group's ongoing expansion strategy, aimed at strengthening its footprint in key markets.
Over the past years, Polygon Finland has consistently broadened its service offerings through strategic acquisitions. With a strong turnover and a fully dedicated team, JVT specializes in Fire Damage Restoration (FDR) and Water Damage Restoration (WDR), making it an ideal fit for Polygon Finland's portfolio to serve customers with increased resources and service capabilities.
"We are delighted to welcome JVT- ja pesutekniikka Oy as the newest member of our expanding Polygon family," said Axel Gränitz, President and CEO of Polygon Group. "As we continue our acquisition strategy, we actively seek targets in strategically important markets. Since our acquisition of Danotec in 2021, our Fire Damage Restoration and Major and Complex Claim resources and capabilities have significantly increased, propelling us to become the leading provider in Fire Damage Restoration in Finland. The acquisition of JVT will further enhance our service footprint and strengthen our position in the market."
Tom Jaatinen, Country President of Polygon Finland, expressed his enthusiasm for the acquisition, "JVT boasts a highly skilled team with strong management. I am excited about the opportunity to reinforce our local organization and expand our FDR activities, including in-house demolition and related equipment. This acquisition is a strategic investment for Polygon in Finland and demonstrates our full commitment to the Finnish market."
Semi Mäkinen, Managing Director at JVT- ja pesutekniikka Oy, highlighted the advantages of joining Polygon Group, stating, "We are thrilled to join an international and national leading player in property damage restoration. By becoming part of Polygon Group, we see an opportunity to leverage our expertise and expand our services to a wider customer base."
