Polygon helps deliver aid to Ukraine in their time of need

As events in Ukraine escalate and countless numbers of people flee to find refuge, Polygon Germany is playing its part by providing vital relief supplies.

On the 5^th of March, a semi-trailer truck full of urgently needed supplies was delivered to the Ukrainian border.

“Along with first aid and food supplies, we also delivered high-quality sleeping bags, insulating mats and tents that are best suited to the low temperatures," says Andreas Weber, Country President of Polygon Germany.

Polygon Germany also joined forces with Alexander Czenkusch (ITC Express), who, alongside Christoph Weingarten, had already collected countless private donations over the course of a few days.

“The personal contribution of our employees over the past few days is incredibly overwhelming. We are so proud to support the important transport of aid with our own semi-trailer truck and supplies worth over €50,000,” comments Florian Schönauer, Marketing Manager at Polygon Germany.

Other companies also joined forces with Polygon and supported the effort by donating a variety of medical equipment.

“It's great that we could rely on our partners and that everyone is able to lend a hand in a time of crisis. All the equipment was loaded and sent on its way first thing on the 5^th of March to ensure we could deliver the promised relief supplies on time.” adds Florian.
