Polygon sustains special Green Status with five-star performance in Achilles audit

Polygon UK is celebrating retaining the highly coveted Green Status for the fifth consecutive year following an audit of the company’s supply chain practices by global accreditation provider Achilles Information.

Achilles reserves Green Status for companies who are judged to deliver outstanding performance across four key areas: Health & Safety, Quality, Environment and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Since 2018, Polygon has scored a maximum 100% in each area every year, making it one of a very limited number of suppliers to be consistently awarded the highest level of achievement.

In addition to retaining Green Status, Polygon also received two Positive Commendations in the post-audit report: one in the area of colleague recognition – with Achilles making particular note of the Extra Mile initiative – and one to commend the quality of the process and systems used for personal development reviews.

Pat Neal, HR Director at Polygon, said: “Having our operations and processes validated by an external accreditation body such as Achilles provides our customers and partners with an important measure of the standards that we work to here at Polygon.”

“We always aim for excellence and we do not rest on our laurels. We know that maintaining Green Status demands sustained effort and dedication to delivering the highest quality service all day, every day. I’m grateful to everyone who has been directly involved in supporting the audit process, and I would like to thank the whole of the Polygon team, whose work has rightly been rewarded by this prestigious accolade.”
