Polygon UK continues their sustainability journey

For the fourth year running, Polyon UK has retained the coveted Green Status Achilles award and once again has been re-certified with the ISO 9001 accreditation.

Polygon UK sets new standards in quality of service with the ISO 9001 accreditation, marking the 16th consecutive year that Polygon’s quality management systems have been recognised as operating to this internationally recognised standard.

The remarkable achievement provides continued evidence of Polygon’s commitment to maintain and improve the high quality of its processes and procedures, supporting a best-in-class service offering for customers, colleagues and suppliers.

As part of the ISO 9001:2015 certification process, Polygon UK was also awarded nine commendations for best practice, highlighting exceptional performance in the following areas:

  • Leadership 
  • Competency 
  • Customer Satisfaction
  • Contents Restoration
  • Internal & External Operations 
  • Environment 
  • Communication (awarded for the 3rd consecutive year)
  • Training (awarded for the 2ndconsecutive year)  
  • ContinuousImprovement (awarded for the 2nd consecutive year)

Green Status Achilles award

Polygon UK has also, for the fourth year running retained the coveted Green Status Achilles award with 100% scores across all categories. Polygon remains one of the very few companies in the UK who have achieved Green status which is the highest award that can be achieved.

“Achieving these high scores in the four key areas of CSR, Health & Safety, the Environment and Quality from an external auditing body supports the 'Our Responsibility' initiative which encompasses the duty of care we all have in these areas as well as enabling us to work in many specialist sectors,” said Pat Neal.

In addition, Polygon UK received four Positive Commendations as follows:

  • Training – Polygon Learning Zone – Covid-19 modules 
  • IT Security and policies
  • Root Cause Analysis reviews
  • Environment - Lightfoot and carbon emission reduction and continuous improvement
