Polygon wins Triton Environmental and Governance awards!

Polygon has been awarded two of Tritons Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) awards despite stiff competition from Triton’s other portfolio companies. These awards emphasise the company´s increased environmental activities, and confirms our commitment to ensuring compliance as we engage with the governance agenda.

Polygon received both the Environmental award as well as the Governance award at the Triton ESG conference in Netherlands a couple of weeks ago. These awards recognize the  hard work of all of us in achieving a high ethical standard and the growth of our business  in terms of social development. Being a sustainable business which works continuously to minimise our impact on the environment is a key part of the Polygon model. Pat Neal, HR Director at Polygon UK & Ireland and Camilla Annerling Barck, Business Control & Compliance Officer, at Polygon Group, were delighted to accept the two Triton Awards for Environment and Governance on behalf of all of you.

"We are proud and happy that Triton recognizes the hard work, commitment and initiative that all of you in the Polygon community demonstrate year round. Over the two day conference Polygon initiatives such as Lightfoot, Polygon Learning Zone (PLZ), Ripples in the Water, Polygon Academy, being the first carbon neutral property restoration company in Netherlands and the Our Responsibility program were mentioned repeatedly as examples of best in class practice for Triton's portfolio companies. Well done everyone!" says Pat Neal and Camilla Annerling Barck.

The motivation of the jury:

“Polygon´s environmental submission was particularly impressive for its focus on areas of high impact to the business, their ability to measure the outcome of their initiatives and by making a clear link between environmental initiatives and value creation, including measurement of financial savings e.g. Polygon UK; Light foot and Polygon Netherlands Climate Neutral”

“Polygon has shown a strong example of improved and increased employee engagement, by using Polygon Learning Zone. The company has been innovative in how it communicates its governance program to its colleagues more effectively as part of the "Our responsibility program".”
