Polygon achieves Achilles accreditation for the third year in a row

Polygon remains one of the very few companies in the UK who have achieved Green status which is the highest award that can be achieved. With approximately 87,000 companies registered by Achilles, only 10-20 of these companies achieve Green status.

Achilles is a supply chain audit standard, focused on providing insight on risk mitigation, sustainability and business performance and is relied on by safety critical industries and governments worldwide. For the third year in a row, Polygon UK achieved an outstanding 100% score after rigorous audit, across all four key sectors: corporate social responsibility (CSR); health and safety; environmental and quality.

“We are thrilled that we have retained the coveted Green Status Achilles award for the third year running with 100% scores across all categories. There are no available stats I am aware of, for companies that achieve this three years in a row. We are delighted to have achieved this remarkable score. This would only be possible because of the hard work, professionalism and commitment from our colleagues “, says Pat Neal HR Director in Polygon UK.

Achieving these high scores in the four key areas from an external auditing body supports the 'Our Responsibility' initiative which encompasses the duty of care Polygon have in these areas. The award also gives Polygon UK increased opportunities to collaborate with specialist businesses around the country, develop innovation and address industry challenges to benefit supply chain practice.
