In a distributed service organization like Polygon with more than 3,300 technicians working in different location, communication is vital. We have recently launched a new intranet with the purpose to provide all our staff with information they need to perform their work and to share best practice with each other.
Polygon’s intranet has been announced as one of three nominated for Best Intranet of the Year at the annual Episerver Website Awards. The awards celebrate and give recognition to best-in-class websites that are based on the Episerver platform. Winners will be announced on the 15th May 2018 at an awards ceremony during user conference, Episerver Ascend, in Stockholm. The judging panel consists of well-known, independent entrepreneurs and universities.
Nomination description
Polygon Everyday is an intranet where employees in each of Polygon's business units across the globe can share and access information needed to perform daily tasks and duties. On Polygon Everyday, Episerver conduct headless-CMS for editorial material and connect external sources to the intranet structure; all information is then available via an API. The user interface is an application built on React, with the mobile app built on React Native.
