DuPont's Bellevue Road campus in Newark, Delaware recently added a 350,000-square-foot warehouse designed to support their product line expansion to help meet growing semiconductor chip demand. Sitting in a storage containment is specialized equipment waiting to be installed in time for 2026 operations. Creating and maintaining constant climate conditions for the unit is critical to the success of the project.
For over 30 years, a renowned artisan bread manufacturer has been dedicated to producing high-quality, authentic bread using sustainable practices. Their team of skilled bakers meticulously oversees every aspect of production to ensure exceptional results.
Maintaining climate conditions is vital in facilities storing beverage products, where fluctuations in temperature or humidity can lead to problems. During the warm summer months, a newly built 650,000-square-foot facility in Texas developed condensation and mold growth around their dock doors and moisture issues. Facility management needed an effective and immediate solution to ensure operational efficiency and product safety of their inventory of frappes, sports drinks, and protein shakes in aseptic packaging.
The KB, National Library of the Netherlands, collaborated with Polygon to improve collection preservation through innovative air quality and leak detection sensors. Polygon helped create emergency response plans for climate control failure, fire incidents, and water damage. These plans, designed for large-scale evacuations, were also successfully applied to smaller incidents, including a small fire, climate control issues, and roof leaks. The collaboration between KB, Polygon, and its subsidiary VANWAARDE ensured effective responses to these incidents, leading to a successful pilot project and further collaboration.
Truebeck Construction, a large west coast general contractor, is responsible for building Timberview VIII, an 8-story mixed-use, multi-family development in Portland, OR.
