Flooding. Heavy rain. Storms. Frozen or leaking pipes.
Whatever the cause of the damage, action must be immediate and professional – and Polygon is close at hand.
Polygon can handle everything from small leaks to major incidents caused by flooding – to restore damaged property, equipment and documents to the greatest possible extent. Water damage prevention services due to digitalisation are an increasingly important part of our offering.
Our water damage restoration services typically involve pumping away residual water and removing furniture and other valuables to minimise further damage. Once the damaged site is under control, the drying process begins, using energy-efficient drying and dehumidification equipment that might be remotely monitored with sensor solutions.
Factors such as the composition of the wet materials, airflow and humidity levels determine the approach to water damage. Sometimes the use of heat mats or heat sticks is required in addition to standard equipment. A growing business for Polygon is taking on responsibility for site restoration, including the replacement of wall and floor materials or the rebuilding of fittings. Polygon also provides a specialised service for reconditioning damaged equipment and machinery.
By using technology such as remote monitoring, we can take continuous measurements of temperature, humidity, moisture content and carbon dioxide levels, which helps reduce both drying times and the number of site visits while keeping customers better informed.
For large-scale disasters, Polygon has an emergency stock of dehumidifiers, fans and other equipment that can be deployed throughout Europe within 24 hours. Our Eurostock is unique and gives us the capacity to respond to major incidents with immediate action.
Residual water is pumped away. Furniture and valuables are removed to prevent further damage. Energy-efficient drying and dehumidification equipment, and offsite remote technology is used to monitor the drying process. Additionally, Polygon takes responsibility for restoration, like replacement of wall and floor materials, of the site.
