Mission

The technician performs all work necessary to minimize damage, ensure damage control and restoration, of property, furniture and building damaged in a disaster.

Responsibilities

Intervenes throughout the recovery process in disasters caused by water, fire or various types of contamination.

KEY FUNCTIONS:

  • Treat water damage.
  • Treat fire damage.
  • Treat contamination problems.
  • Document work diligently and punctually.
  • Follow Project Manager's instructions and guidelines.
  • Respect safety instructions at all times.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as required.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of technical school, or two (2) years of work experience in the disaster restoration field
  • Available to work overtime as needed (on-call schedule)
  • Valid driver's license (mandatory)
  • Ability to lift heavy loads - (25 kg) required
  • Bilingualism (French and English)
  • IICRC WRT certification a major asset
