JOB SUMMARY

We are currently seeking an ambitious Business Development Specialist who will strengthen our market presence within the assigned territory. Under the supervision of the Unit Manager, The Business Development Specialist is responsible for profitably growing sales to achieve annual revenue targets. The successful candidate requires a strong customer focus and possesses consultative skills with a proven ability to develop solutions in order to satisfy our customer's needs.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Expand market share in assigned territory within the desired customer segments by selling temporary de-humidification, heating and cooling service solutions
  • Make sales calls and give technical presentations to different stakeholders, i.e. architects, project managers, engineers etc.
  • Produce scope and estimates for sold projects
  • Achieve targeted sales and gross margin goals in assigned area
  • Participate in all local trade shows, and, if required, similar regional / national activities
  • Manage sales volume with existing customers and prospect to expand the customer base
  • Create a strong territory "presence"

REQUIRED PROFILE:

  • Team player with a ‘’can-do’’ attitude and passion for excellence
  • Self-motivated and proficient with time management
  • Strong negotiating and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrates a record of achievement with a minimum of three (3) years of sales experience within a service industry.
  • Exceptional communicator and well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Skillful at delivering excellence in customer service
  • Able to meet important deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong business acumen
  • Overnight travel may be occasionally required
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Power Point

  • Knowledge of HVAC and psychometric charts
  • Experience within equipment rental and or construction and or industrial coating industries
