The recovery efforts from Hurricane Florence continue in North and South Carolina, and Polygon continues to manage our equipment and emergency response efforts. We are responding to drying equipment requests and providing outstanding service to customers. We’re not done yet.

In response to Hurricane Florence, Polygon has mobilized drying equipment, personnel and other equipment to North and South Carolina. Working in support of restoration companies, and in response to businesses, more equipment is expected to arrive in the coming days to help the recovery process.

The past two months have been a series of unfortunate natural disasters that have wreaked havoc on North America. From fires and earthquakes to three hurricanes making landfall less than a month apart, there has been extreme physical damage to business properties.

When Hurricane Matthew made its way along the U.S.’s southeastern coast, the Walt Disney Company, big hotel chains, and Comcast Corporation’s Universal Orlando and SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment lost thousands in revenue. The storm forced Disney to keep its cruise liners docked and reschedule vacations at its resort.
