You can’t think about a Texas summer without thinking about extreme heat. Across the Lone Star State, temperatures are ranging from the mid-80s to more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit. While some have the luxury of being able to wait out these soaring temperatures in a cool, insulated building (or maybe even a swimming pool), general contractors and construction crews have project deadlines to meet. The extreme conditions they are facing not only pose challenges to completing projects on time, but can also pose a risk for heat-related illnesses.
