Children and staff members of a day-care centre just outside of Stockholm, Sweden, complained about a lingering odour in their facility. An inspection was ordered. The inspection determined that the foundation of their building was in poor condition, creating the odour. Polygon Sweden was hired to fix the problem by cleaning, demolishing, measuring moisture levels and installing dehumidifiers in the 1200 square meter crawl space beneath the floor of the day-care.

The past few weeks have seen heavy rainfall in Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium which has resulted in severe damages within communities. Polygon teams across these regions have been preparing for the workload they will be faced within the coming weeks.

Late in May, Sweden was hit by heavy rainfall for 30 hours. As a result, more than 400 claims were received in just one week. Polygon | AK's depots all over Sweden were quick to respond, calling in Polygon’s international resources to secure all of the equipment that was needed.
