Polygon acknowledges the World Environment Day 2023

World Environment Day is a global platform for inspiring positive change. People from more than 150 countries participate in this United Nations international day, which celebrates environmental action and the power of governments, businesses and individuals to create a more sustainable world. The event has been led by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) since its inception in 1973. The theme for World Environment Day on June 5th 2023 will focus on solutions to plastic pollution under the campaign #BeatPlasticPollution.

Restorations with a light hand – religious art statues

At the Museum 't Oude Slot, in the Dutch city of Veldhoven, a glass shelf in a display cabinet collapsed, damaging precious statues. The unfortunate event occurred in February of last year, and the museum quickly approached Polygon’s VANWAARDE team to restore the art. With VANWAARDE’s skill in delicate restoration, the objects were given new life.
