Polygon has acquired all the shares in its franchise company Polygon Haugesund AS. The company will add 14 employees to Polygon and a turnover of about 1.8 MEUR.
Polygon has acquired AMRestore in the US. The acquisition will add 29 employees and a turnover of about 2.5 M$.
Polygon has signed an agreement to acquire the shares of Nettag AG. The acquisition will add 35 employees and a turnover of about 4.5 MEUR.
During spring, Polygon Group collaborated closely with two MSc students at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, in order to quantify how much CO2 we save through our WDR services. The purpose of this collaboration has been to push our focus on sustainability even further, something that is becoming increasingly important to both our customers and employees. The first estimates indicate that Polygon annually saves around 10 000 tons of CO2. The main reason is our ability to dry damaged material instead of destruction and replacement. The amount of CO2 that we save is equivalent to more than 14 000 round trips between London and New York.
A new Technical Centre has been opened in Magdeburg, in order for POLYGONVATRO to respond more efficiently when their support is needed. With this new centre, POLYGONVATRO will be able to take on new missions, across new areas of Germany and keep spreading their knowledge and services.
