A devastating fire in Norway caused Polygon Norway, POLYGONVATRO and Polygon Denmark to come together and collaborate for the Major and Complex Claims Project in order to finish the NOK 40 million-worth restoration. The factory was able to re-open again, right in time for the important herring season.
The fact that Europe was hit hard by storms and floods this summer, with some areas suffering the worst devastation in decades is undeniable. Polygon is proud to have been able to help where it was needed the most. However, in catastrophic weather disasters like this, our resources are not always enough in one country. We are therefore grateful to be an international company with the strength to be able to help each other across borders.
In late summer, the Tessin region in Switzerland was struck by a devastating natural disaster as strong hailstorms, followed by heavy rainfall, wreaked havoc on the area. The consequences were devastating, with numerous properties severely damaged by the storm. However, in the midst of this crisis, the international collaboration of Polygon came to the forefront and demonstrated its strength.
