We had the pleasure of welcoming the McLarens team to our headquarters for an immersive and hands-on training session. Hosted by Scott Woodward, Head of Loss Adjuster Development, the event provided an invaluable opportunity to demonstrate the cutting-edge services, advanced equipment, and innovative techniques we use to restore properties and detect hidden leaks without causing unnecessary damage.

Key Highlights from the Day

The training day was packed with informative sessions led by our experts, each designed to showcase the specialised skills and technologies that set Polygon UK apart.
 

🔥 Lithium Battery Fire Safety –

We kicked off the day with an insightful session on the dangers of lithium battery fires. Demonstrating the importance of proper protection, he introduced essential PPE that our technicians rely on to ensure safety in high-risk situations.

💦 Flood Restoration & Drying Techniques –

We then guided the McLarens team through our purpose-built flood house, offering a first-hand look at our industry-leading drying equipment and property restoration methods. This session highlighted how we efficiently mitigate water damage using the latest technology.

🔎 Non-Destructive Leak Detection –

After a break for lunch, we showcased our non-invasive Leak Detection solutions. The McLarens team had the chance to engage with specialist equipment and gain hands-on experience in identifying leaks without destructive methods.

🛠️ Hard Surface Repair Demonstration –

To conclude the day was an engaging session on hard surface repairs. Adding a fun twist to the learning experience, participants took part in a friendly competition to test their repair skills—proving that restoration can be both technical and rewarding.
