As we lead into the spring, April was an eventful month for Polygon Major & Complex Claims, filled with significant developments and achievements.
We successfully moved to a new office after a thorough refurbishment of the new building. The increased space and newly created office areas have allowed us to co-locate with other Polygon teams specialising in Domestic Claims, Electronic Restoration, and Domestic Contents Restoration.
The team are loving the new space and working with new colleagues within Polygon UK.
In collaboration with Crawfords, we are currently undertaking a significant fire damage decontamination project at a refrigerated site. The project requires the team to cover day and night shifts, across the week, including bank holidays to meet tight deadlines for our client.
The size of the site requires high access teams and added to that there are harsh conditions on the project means specialist PPE, warm clothing and regular breaks to ensure the safety of our teams in the refrigerated and frozen logistics stores. The team is working diligently to complete the decontamination process efficiently and effectively, whilst ensuring the client business continues to operate around the clock.
It was great to be nominated for the Modern Claim Awards, and we proudly attended, showcasing our dedication to excellence in the industry. This recognition highlights the team's efforts in supporting the insurance sector through professional services, products, and expertise. The awards ceremony was an opportunity to showcase the team's achievements and build relationships with key clients. We were happy to host existing, new and prospective clients at the awards whilst taking the opportunity to network with some of our industry colleagues.
In our last newsletter, we mentioned the noted increase in trauma claims and that we had been supporting several sites with urgent biohazard cleanup following serious incidents. I'm pleased to share with you a case study to help explain the service we offer and how we mitigate severe trauma-related incidents effectively, helping clients return to normalcy as quickly as possible. Our team is trained to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and care, ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations.
This month, we introduce Claire, who heads up our Utilities division, providing specialist support to key clients, whilst also leading our efforts with Hiscox, focusing on high net worth claims that went live this month.
