Moisture Testing Ensures Flooring Readiness

At a construction site, there was a concern about the moisture level within the anhydrite screed. These types of screed have become a popular alternative to the sand and cement options; however, a potential issue is that they can have a weak surface layer. This means that the drying process can be slower. The contractor must therefore ensure that the screed has been dried to the optimal level before any floor finish such as vinyl, tiles, carpets or wood panelling can be laid. To do this, an accurate moisture assessment is required from a specialist humidity expert.

Low-Noise Climate Control for Elevated Water Tank Refurbishment

The water tanks cubic capacity is an area of 140 cubic metres which must be refurbished and waterproofed, but we have to find a solution to supply the process and heated air to achieve the right conditions and to do this the process equipment has to be sited at height 150ft above ground level, maintaining the correct temperature and relative humidity levels is most definitely challenging.

Efficient Climate Control for Winter Tank Refurbishment

Due to tank dimensions equal to 22,911 m2 and the project running through the middle of winter, this was a large-scale project. Site location and terrain, although beautiful, were difficult to get to, and installation of our equipment on a reasonable lay-down area to ensure proper delivery of the processed and heated air to the tank presented its challenges. Our Technicians worked hard and managed to site the equipment in an accessible area and close enough to the target area for the processed air not to be affected by lengthy ducting distances.
