A recently opened school building, completed in 2024, was experiencing persistent and disruptive leaks in its classrooms, offices and hallways. Although initial repair efforts had been carried out, the school required absolute certainty that the underlying issues were fully resolved and that the roof structure was completely watertight before the problem could recur.
We were recently called to a managed property, where the goal is to provide support that allows residents to maintain and enhance their independence within the community. Our involvement in the project stemmed from a strong working relationship with a Heating company, who appointed us to assist with a complex internal water issue affecting the property
A customer reported an unusually high water bill, which led to the confirmation of a leak on the cold-water supply pipe running between the external water meter and the internal stopcock in the kitchen, a distance of approximately 100 metres. The leak was causing a loss of around 2,880 litres of water every 24 hours.
Polygon were appointed by a sprinkler systems specialist company, who advised that they had an unknown position on the underground sprinkler system on site at a well-known UK studio set. We initially attended to assess the feasibility of finding the leak and what equipment was necessary, and then tested a section of pipe as advised in our assessment survey.
The Donbass Arena is a 50,000-capacity football stadium in Ukraine. The UEFA Elite 5-star stadium is home to FC Shakhtar Donetsk. The 47,000 m2 stadium features nearly 10,000m2 of Astroturf and natural grass on the perimeter and pitch area.
